Features of Transparent PE cling film

Anti-fog properties of transparent PE food wrap
Anti-fog mechanism
The surface energy of water is 72 dyn/cm, and the surface energy of PE is 32 dyn/cm. The surface energy of the two is different, so the water droplets cannot be uniformly dispersed to wet the film, thereby forming dispersed droplets, that is, water mist. After adding the antifoggant, on the one hand, due to the different polarity, the antifoggant will precipitate on the surface of the film. When the antifoggant migrates to the surface of the film, it will impart a certain polarity to the surface of the film; In the water droplet, the surface tension of the water droplet is reduced, and the antifoggant narrows the gap between the surface energy of PE and the water, and finally makes the surface energy of the two basically equal, so that the contact angle between the water droplet and the film will continue to decrease until zero, so as to have the effect of anti-fog.
Product process of food grade PE cling film
There are mainly 3 types of food grade PE cling film in the market: single layer, three-layer, five-layer. JUYOU manufactures the five-layer cling film.
There are more materials can be chose of the multi-layer cling film than the single one, and the materials that meet the requests(anti-fog/biodegradable/antibacterial) can be selected separately, to be endowed with different functions and uses.
