Comparison
1) Color
The Polyethylene Cling Film roll looks milk white, and PVC cling film roll looks yellowish. That’s why factory usually use white paper core to rewind the PE cling film, and use yellow color paper core to rewind the PVC cling film. Suitable color of paper cores make them look more clear.
2) Transparency
Compared with PVC plastic wrap, PE cling wrap is slightly less transparent.
3) Tensile strength
The tensile strength of PE food wrap is weaker than PVC.
4) Self-adhesive performance
The self-adhesive performance of PE vegetable film is weaker than PVC fruit film. The PVC fruit film is easier to cling on the food container.
5) Combustion test
PE plastic wrap is easy to burn, will drip oil, and smells like candles; PVC plastic wrap will produce black smoke with pungent odor.
