PE Plastic Film has moisture-proof, moisture permeability is small. PE Plastic Film according to the different manufacturing methods and control means, can be produced low density, medium density, high density polyethylene and crosslinked polyethylene and other different properties of products.
Low density polyethylene
Its density is about 0.92 g/cm3. Low density polyethylene film transparency and heat sealing good, waterproof, moisture-proof; Low tensile strength, large elongation, easy to wrinkle, 0.03mm below the film, tension control should be small, and the tension should be constant, especially when heat more deformation, resulting in color difficult. Therefore, when drying, the surface temperature of the film should not be too high (within 55 degrees). According to the different film forming process, it can be divided into blow plastic film (IPE), salivary film (CPE), low foaming film and so on. The tensile strength and opening of IPE film is better than that of CPE film, which can be used as food bag, clothing bag and so on. CPE film thickness is uniform, surface gloss, transparency and heat sealing better than PE, can be printed on both sides, but the production cost is high. CPE film is mainly used as the inner layer of composite bags and packaging of cosmetics, pickles and pastries; Low foaming film decorative, thick texture, not easy to stretch deformation, positive printing, used as New Year pictures, trademarks and bags.
Medium density polyethylene
Its density is about 0.93 ~ 0.94 g/cm3 and its properties are between high density and low density polyethylene.
High density polyethylene
The density is 0.94 -- 0.965 g/cm3. The heat resistance and mechanical strength of high density polyethylene film are better than that of low density polyethylene film, and the elongation is small. The thickness of the film is generally above 0.03mm, but the transparency is poor. Adopt front printing, mainly used as vest bag, garbage bag and lining bag.
Crosslinked polyethylene
Because it has higher heat resistance, tensile strength, thermal shrinkage and barrier than other polyethylene products, its use in further expansion, 2014 mostly used for heat shrink packaging film.
Generally speaking, with the increase of density, mechanical properties and barrier properties will be improved, heat resistance is good. The same density polyethylene, because of the different film forming process, they also have different properties. This is because the salivation method can be cooled quickly, crystallinity is low, transparency is high, turbidity is small, but the molecular arrangement is more irregular, so the barrier is small, that is, the permeability is large, the elongation is low, the tear resistance is poor.
